Moms In Prayer International
Moms In Prayer impacts children and schools worldwide for Christ by gathering together in more than 140 countries to pray. Their mission is to pray for children, teachers, & staff that they will receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior and stand boldly in their faith. They strive to be an encouragement and positive support to their schools.
Michelle Homchuck has been involved with Moms In Prayer ministry for over 10 years. Michelle was the Area Coordinator for Piscataquis and Somerset Counties for 9 years and is currently the Maine Region 2 Coordinator, covering 8 Counties in Northern and Central Maine. This is a huge area, and there are only a handful of active groups. Stephanie Dankert is our Area Coordinator for Somerset and Piscataquis Counties. Our local group has been actively reaching out to area schools, letting them know they are being prayed for.
Calvary Chapel Maine Highlands MIP meets every Wednesday from 2:00 PM - 3 PM and Friday at 8 AM at the church. All women are welcome to join us in prayer and encouragement for our children, area schools & each other. To gather together with like-minded Christian Mothers is an incredible opportunity.
May we heed the call to rise up and pray for our children!
